In-Person & Online Tutoring - Lake in the Hills, IL

Established in 2006, Huntington Learning Center in Lake in the Hills, IL has been providing students in the Northwest Suburbs with exceptional tutoring and test prep for over a decade.

Our center is in close proximity to many extremely competitive school districts. We proudly serve students in Algonquin, Crystal Lake, Dundee, Huntley, Village of Lakewood, Woodstock, and surrounding areas. By communicating and working closely with the area schools, we have become familiar with the learning standards and classroom expectations in the area. This allows us to tailor each student's program to, not only their specific needs and strengths, but also to the curriculum they will face in school.

We take extreme pride in our community and constantly look for opportunities to support our students and their families. We have sponsored practice ACTs and SATs in conjunction with local high schools, as well as held informational meetings at the Algonquin Public Library. Building relationships with our community has greatly contributed to our success. We partner with area districts and schools (both public and private) and are familiar with the learning standards and classroom expectations for area schools. More recently we have stayed closely informed of the changes to the ACT and redesigned SAT, and the decision by the Illinois State Board of Education to require public high school juniors to take the SAT.
