Jon, the owner and Ashley, the Center Director, believe that student success is molded not only by schools and parents but by the community in which we participate. Huntington assists schools and PTAs with events and fundraisers such as elementary school fairs, annual carnivals, auctions, and school banners.
Our college prep ACT program results in excellent score increases. The typical student earns a 5 point increase, and larger increases are common. There are no classes or group work; rather, all instruction is one to one. In addition, students take several practice tests that they find very helpful. Also, practice tests are free!

11 Point ACT Increase
"Our sweet daughter Zoe, is a high honor roll student who has always made her scholastic career a top priority. She has learned through her life that although she knows the information for a test... she suffers from high anxiety and it quickly overwhelms her. Her test scores never had reflected her intellect and knowledge. Her teachers were wonderful in working with her because of her diligence.
However, the ACT is a test that is standardized and therefore she was unable to do it differently. One peg does not fit all shapes... And once again her score did not reflect what she knew.
When we heard about Huntington from a friend we were relieved that there was place she could go and learn how to specifically take the ACT! At our appointment Zoe's schedule and what she needed to work on was addressed and put into place. She was excited to go and was excited she could improve her score to better secure scholarships to her choice colleges. She worked one on one for several months and in that time increased her ACT by 11 points! She not only did well she did secure scholarships to all of the schools she applied too! She received the Dean's scholarship to Westminster College and was admitted into the direct nursing program. She was one of only 8 to be admitted into that program! Wow!
We are beyond grateful to Huntington for their efforts on our daughters behalf and look forward to having each of our kids go there. The point differentials we saw mean so much to the bottom line when it comes to college and the monetary payouts! We know and feel that every penny we spent at Huntington was worth it. Not only did it teach her things she will forever need for her testing and cognitive roles in her life but she feels so much more confidant as well.

The Huntington Miracle
"Our daughter was in the 5th grade when we realized she was not catching onto the subjects being taught in school. She had managed to fake her way through the first few years of elementary, but as she moved into the 5th grade her grades were very low and she was getting 1's ad 2's on her elementary report cards. We had explored several tutoring options and we came across Huntington learning center. The approach they took was exactly what our daughter needed. They were able to test her skills and determine that she was learning at a 2nd grade level, mainly due to her deficiency in comprehension skills. They could tell us, based off of their experience, how many hours it would take to get her up to grade level. We were then able to plan out the path that would work best for our schedule and our budget to get her where she is now. They held progress meetings with us every 4-6 weeks to show us the progress our daughter was making and to set new goals for her. They worked with her and were able to bring her up to grade level, all while continuing to work with her on her current grade level work. She was completely prepared for middle school and Huntington taught her how to be successful with both her classroom work as well as at-home studies.
She is now a sophomore in high school, and she has been able to take her Math credits at Huntington Learning Center, because they are accredited with the state of Utah. Being able to work with a teacher who knows her learning style and abilities has been vital to her High School success. Now that our daughter is comfortable learning math, she is excelling in her other subjects as well.
Huntington has surpassed all of our expectations and proved to be a priceless tool in our daughter's education."
